|Position Title:||Graduate Assistantship|
Graduate Assistantships in the Department of Animal & Avian Sciences, University of Maryland, are available for M.S. and Ph.D. students for the Fall 2019 –Spring 2020 academic year. These assistantships provide a competitive stipend, health benefits, and tuition remission, and are renewable depending on satisfactory progression through the program. Students will engage in research and collaborate with other graduate students under the direction of their mentor. Students will also be assigned teaching assistant duties, usually for one course each a year. Candidates should have previous laboratory experience, a B.S. (in Animal Sciences, Biology, Biochemistry, or closely related field), excellent verbal and written communications skills, and a strong work ethic.
